Throwback Project Pick

Everywhere we go there’s bound to be some type of informational signage. Some more helpful than others, some prettier than others. When we travel we look for signage – something that we recognize. We do the same when we enter a room, we look around to find a familiar face, to find where all the doors are, windows, signage, or even where the nearest bathroom is. The same is said for travelers that stay at hotels and explore their rooms.

I had the opportunity to help take Room Directories for many Hilton Grand Vacations properties, updating or creating them to our new brand standards. Each property had its in-room directories tailored to their individual markets from the type of imagery, illustrations, down to the copy written.

But the fun didn’t stop there. Our creative department didn’t just handle the art but we had our own copywriter separate from our communications department that helped keep a consistent length, tone, and feel across the various vacation spots while keeping them tailored for their markets. In addition to this, our artists edited property logos and images to continue with monotone appearance across the brand and properties.
